If Cabo San Lucas is the wild child, then San Jose del Cabo is the mild sister. San Jose del Cabo is more peaceful and offers shopping and good dining. Paseo del Estero (Marshland Trail) will take you from Blvd. Mijares to Zona Hotelera. The best beaches for swimming are along the road to Cabo San Lucas, but the best beach is Playa Santa Maria at Km 13.
